Movie of the Week - The Tender Trap (2021) New Zealand movie starring Riwa Te Wiata

A very moving film about older single women who get conned. Based on a true story.

Sadly, reminded me a lot of one of my sisters who may have destroyed her health and life due to a male whom she was/is infatuated with (a happily married doctor) who said to her one day, "Do it for me." 

I am yet to ascertain his motive.

Great performance by New Zealand Maori actress and comedian Riwa Te Wiata.

She used to do a great rendition of former newsreader Judy Bailey.

Highly recommended.
