Dog Pound (2010) with Adam Butcher, or Coldwater (2013) with P J Boudousque?

Both similar movies with strong lead performances by relatively unknown actors who appear to have quit acting later.

Due to the sheer intensity of Dog Pound I would have given it the edge, but of course Dog Pound is a remake of the earlier borstal film Scum (1977) and so after deducting creative innovation points I will give it to Coldwater.

Anyway, they are both great movies, and well worth a watch.
