Movie of the week - Cul-de-Sac (1966) starring Donald Pleasence.

After being fortunate enough to stumble upon The Swimmer, I was equally lucky enough to stumble upon Cul-de-Sac. Also, a not so well known movie. 

I have always been a huge fan of Donald Pleasence since seeing him in the Australian movie, Wake in Fright (undoubtedly the best movie ever about drinking) where he gave a sublime performance. 

Jacqueline Bisset was also in it (but only with a small role).

Quite an extraordinary, and entertaining movie.
