The best and most underrated low budget horror movie, A Dark Song (2016).

Horror movies that have impressed me over the last decade or so, have been The Conjuring, and Midsommar, both outstanding movies, and also very popular. Older ones, The Cottage, and Eden Lake.

But there are also some great low budget, not so well known, movies out there.

One I loved was, A Dark Song (2016).

It is to with the Abremalin, which was made famous by the occultist Aleister Crowley.

 

Quirky, natural, and most importantly quite affecting, as in scary. It is occult themed, and set in rural Wales. I can highly recommend it.
